The two main challenges for this project were to accentuate the architecture of the home, and provide a multi-faceted living area in a very limited amount of space. The area formed a long narrow axis which we utilized by placing a stone arch, fireplace, and water feature at the main vantage points. The outdoor kitchen completed the space with curved concrete countertops, wooden cabinetry combined with stone, and an overhead cedar trellis with lighting. Multi-levels of intimate areas accommodate small or large gatherings. Strong emphasis on detailed craftsmanship and natural materials enhanced the arts & craft bungalow style home making it a showcase.
