This project was an opportunity to work with a client who wanted to do something a little whimsical.  They recently made improvements to their home by adding a deck, screened in porch and hot tub all perfect for enjoying their tranquil backyard.  We were asked to create a patio for additional areas to congregate, make the newly added improvements more cohesive, all while integrating a natural water feature to enhance their outdoor living.  The water feature begins with a soothing sound of water trickling down a stone wall, passes underneath a stone bridge and cascades along a series of stone slab steps.  The stream continues as it meanders through a patio providing a unique opportunity to walk across or through the stream.  Finally the stream flows into a small basin tucked up against the deck providing an excellent vantage point to view down into the pond.       Â
