Residential Landscape Design Portfolio
Being entrusted to design and construct significant portions of our clients’ private residential landscape is a responsibility and honor we feel privileged to undertake. It is critical to thoroughly understand each individual’s wishes and needs as well as the site’s particular characteristics. An overall approach is vital and with our design/build process, the endeavor can be taken phase by phase as desired, to create a harmonious and beautiful end project. The residences highlighted here represent a few of our favorites.

This client wanted a backyard where they could entertain with family and friends. They asked us to incorporate a pool, patio, lawn area and a fire pit all in a sloping backyard.

This project involved developing a landscape that would reflect the history and rural environment of the newly remodeled stone farmhouse and its accompanying outbuildings. Large groups had to be accommodated, yet intimate family and friend gathering places was also a need.
Overlooking the Catoctin Valley, this residence offered a dramatic view of Frederick’s pastoral farmlands. This backyard retreat offers a formal potager garden, anchored with a classic garden shed, an expansive dining area and more.
Surrounded by woodland, the owners of this residence wanted us to create an outdoor haven where they could enjoy nature while letting their dogs run and play.
